Bringing the love and hope of Jesus Christ to tsunami devastated northeastern coastal Japan!

Go to: Onagawa Megumi Project

On March 11, 2011, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake and ensuing tsunamis devastated northeastern coastal Japan. The tsunami waves caused about 20,000 fatalities along a 300 mile stretch of the Pacific Ocean coastline.

In response, Dale and Ann Little lived in Sendai during 2012 in order to serve among tsunami displaced people and those who remained in their tsunami devastated towns.

The Littles are now planting Tokyo Multicultural Church, continuing their tsunami ministry on a part time basis from Tokyo through partnerships they began in 2012. They travel to northeastern Japan several times a year to connect with and encourage tsunami recovery ministry partners who are sharing the love of Jesus Christ in a tangible way.

The ONAGAWA MEGUMI PROJECT of missionary colleagues serving with ReachGlobal is their primary ongoing tsunami ministry partnership. The EFCCM helped the Megumi Project get started by donating funds for their workshop trailer and for their shop on the Onagawa Promenade.
